About VanishInbox
We built VanishInbox because spam is a solved problem — and yet most people still hand their real email address to every website they visit. We wanted to make the better option trivially easy.
Our Mission
Every time you hand your email address to a new website, you are making a permanent decision. That address will be stored in their database indefinitely, potentially sold to data brokers, and exposed if they ever suffer a breach. Most people have no idea how much of their spam traces back to a single sign-up from years ago.
VanishInbox exists to make the privacy-first choice the default choice. Not a complicated alias service, not a premium subscription — just a free inbox that works instantly and disappears completely after 10 minutes. No decision fatigue, no maintenance, no trace.
We are not a data company. We do not sell email lists. The service is free because we genuinely believe privacy tools should be accessible to everyone, not just people willing to pay for them.
How We Got Here
- 2024
The spam problem
Alex signs up for a SaaS free trial using his personal email. Three weeks later his inbox has 47 marketing emails from that company and six "trusted partners". The idea for VanishInbox is born.
- 2024
First working prototype
A Cloudflare Worker catches all inbound email on a catch-all domain, parses it, and stashes it in Redis with a 10-minute TTL. Crude but functional — emails arrive in under 3 seconds.
- 2025
Public launch
VanishInbox launches publicly with a clean inbox UI, five domains, dark mode, and sandboxed email rendering. First 1,000 users arrive within 48 hours.
- 2025–now
Growing the platform
New domains added, PWA support shipped, spam guides and privacy content published. The mission stays the same: the fastest, cleanest, most private disposable email on the web.

The principles we refused to compromise on when building VanishInbox
No ads inside the inbox
We never place ads inside the inbox itself — no banners interrupting your emails, no sponsored placements between messages. The core tool stays clean. Some surrounding pages may carry unobtrusive display ads to help keep the service free.
Real deletion, not archiving
Emails are stored in Redis with a 10-minute TTL. When the key expires, the data is gone at the infrastructure level — not moved to an archive, not retained for analytics.
No account, no tracking
We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, or any personally identifiable information. There is nothing to breach because there is nothing to store.
Sandboxed email rendering
Every email is displayed inside a sandboxed iframe. Scripts, tracking pixels, and malicious HTML are blocked from executing or accessing the parent page.
Open infrastructure
Built on Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Email Routing, and Redis — standard, auditable components, not a proprietary black box.
Free, globally accessible
VanishInbox runs on Cloudflare's global edge network. Fast load times from London to Sydney with no regional paywalls or feature tiers.
