Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

VanishInbox is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the service.

When you use VanishInbox, the following data is temporarily processed:

• The randomly generated email address assigned to your session
• Email content sent to your temporary address (stored for 10 minutes only)
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) retained for up to 24 hours

2. How Long We Keep Data

All email content is automatically and permanently deleted after 10 minutes using Redis TTL (time-to-live) expiry. We do not archive, back up, or retain any email content beyond this window. Your browser stores your session in localStorage, which you can clear at any time via your browser settings.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (page views, session duration, etc.). This may set cookies in your browser. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate VanishInbox:

• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, DDoS protection, and email routing
• Upstash — Temporary Redis database for email storage
• Google Analytics — Aggregate usage analytics

Each service has its own privacy policy.

5. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not read or scan email content for advertising purposes
• We do not link temporary email addresses to real identities
• We do not store emails beyond the 10-minute expiry window
